The Golden Ring Hotel was built in 1970. That time it was called the Belgrade-I Hotel and used to accommodate foreign tourist visited Russia with Intourist groups. Since 1991 the Hotel Golden Ring is a member of the hotel chain affiliated to the Department of Affairs of the President of the Russian Federation. The Golden Ring Hotel was totally reconstructed in 1998 and was the latest addition to Moscow's luxury hotel scene.
